About the Performance
Ravinia is grateful for media support from

Two living legends take the stage this summer at Ravinia, sharing an evening of Americana, folk, and country-rock that celebrates over six decades of an enduring musical legacy. Miers on Music writes, “There are concerts. And then there are musical events that come across as transcendent experiences … live shows that enter the space of the sacred.”
Graham Nash is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, with Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and with the Hollies. Towering above virtually everything that Nash has accomplished in his multi-faceted career stands the litany of songs that he has written and introduced to the soundtrack of the past half-century. His remarkable body of work began with his contributions to the Hollies opus, including “On a Carousel” and “Carrie Anne,” continues all the way to his 2023 solo album, Now.
A 14-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, Emmylou Harris has recorded more than 25 albums and has lent her talents to countless fellow artists’ recordings. Admired through her career for her talent as an artist and song connoisseur, Harris shook up country radio in the 1970s, and established herself as the premiere songwriter of a generation selling more than 15 million records and garnering 14 Grammy Awards, three CMA Awards, and four Americana Awards.
Together, the two legends promise an “unforgettable night of music” (American Songwriter), continuing to share their hard-earned wisdom but always looking ahead.
