Magic of Music Golf Benefit

This annual event is one of Ravinia’s signature fundraisers, bringing together sponsors and a host of golf enthusiasts for a fun-filled outing each spring for more than 25 years!

Proceeds from the Magic of Music Golf Benefit provide vital funding for Ravinia’s Reach Teach Play music education and community engagement programs, which serve more than 50,000 people across the Chicago area—including more than 20,000 students in Chicago and Lake County public schools and neighborhood programs—opening doors for our community to access and experience the positive impact of music.

The 2026 Magic of Music Golf Benefit is at Northmoor Country Club. For more than 100 years, Northmoor has been a place where families and friends have gathered to create special memories. Northmoor features 27 holes of championship golf, including 18 holes originally designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross. The course has been renovated by renowned architects Hurdzan/Fry and Tyler Rae, enhancing the golf experience.

The day’s events begin with a luncheon inside the club’s beautiful dining room. Guests will enjoy a performance by students from one of our Reach Teach Play programs and then proceed to a classic golf experience across a championship 27-hole course. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to purchase raffle tickets for a chance at exclusive items, experiences, and popular (even sold-out!) Ravinia concerts, plus on-the-course games, including the GTS Golf Cannon, the number-one golf air cannon.

Immediately after golf, mingle at a cocktail reception featuring music by Ravinia Jazz Scholars and finish the night with upscale appetizers prepared by the Club’s Executive Chef.
