Dining Pavilion

  • Space rental (choose any two spaces from the options below):
    • $10,000 on Weekdays
    • $15,000 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings
    • $25,000 for Private Celebrations (weddings, mitzvahs, reunions)
    • Please note that a day-of coordinator or planner is required for Private Celebrations
  • $7,500 for daytime rental
    • A $1,500 facilities fee applies to all off-season rentals to cover parking, security, and gate staff
  • Add-on space rental (priced per additional space):
    • $1,000 on Weekdays
    • $1,500 for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings
    • $750 for daytime rental
  • Food and beverage minimum starting at $35,000

Tree Top Lounge & The Negaunee Foundation Porch

The Tree Top Lounge at Ravinia offers a relaxed, inviting atmosphere with its blend of comfortable furniture and friendly farm tables adorned with plant life. This cozy space is perfect for guests to unwind and socialize in a serene setting amidst Ravinia’s natural beauty. Meanwhile, the Porch provides a charming outdoor experience, overlooking the North Lawn. With its skylights and spacious layout, it blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, giving your elevated party a charming ambience.

Perfect for corporate retreats, The Audrey includes several distinct, modern spaces. The Foyer and Lobby are the gateway to your event, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing a stunning panoramic view of Ravinia's North Lawn. The Gallery features an exhibition on Ravinia history, providing a site-specific backdrop to your cocktail party. And, the stunning Sandra K. Crown Theater features a gorgeous design, a small stage, and brand new audio/visual equipment.

Martin Theatre

The Martin Theatre is the only building that remains from the original construction of Ravinia, which opened in 1904. Beautifully restored in 1992, the 850-seat concert hall is home to stunning performances by the world’s finest chamber ensembles and vocal and instrumental soloists.

Bennett Gordon Hall

Located at the south end of the park, Bennett Gordon Hall, in the John D. Harza Building, is a 430-seat, jewel-like recital hall. First opening its doors in 1988, Bennett Gordon Hall (BGH) is Ravinia’s year-round venue featuring a microcosm of the Festival’s diverse programming.

We are pleased to offer all Illinois 501(c) organizations 50% off of the space rental fee, once per fiscal year.


Off-Season Rental FAQs

How far in advance do I need to plan my event?

While we love to plan ahead, we are unable to guarantee space to groups further than one year in advance of the event date. We also ask that you book your space and choose your menu no less than one month prior to your event date. Your final guaranteed headcount will be due 14 business days prior to your event date.

Can I work with my own caterer?

No, Ravinia’s onsite caterer is Levy Restaurants. Exceptions apply to Bennett Gordon Hall rentals.

Do I need an event planner or day-of coordinator?

A day-of coordinator or planner is required for Private Celebrations. We also recommend hiring an event planner for all events of more than 200 guests.

Can I work with an outside decorating company?

While our team is here to help you book external rentals and decor services, you are most welcome to bring your own team in as well.

When can I access the event space?

For Dining Pavilion Rentals and renting The Audrey, load-in is available upon request on the day in advance of your event from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.. For an evening event, your space will be available starting at 12 p.m. All guests and vendors must exit the park no later than 11:59 p.m. on the evening of your event. A one-hour pick-up window for any remaining supplies can be arranged on the next business day following your event. For other rentals, please reach out to events@ravinia.org for more details.

Can my vendors load our equipment in advance?

For Dining Pavilion rentals and renting The Audrey, a $500 load-in fee will apply to any externally booked vendors. For other rentals, please reach out to events@ravinia.org for more details.

Is parking included in these packages?

Yes, for Dining Pavilion Rentals and renting The Audrey, on-site parking is included with your off-season event and is covered by a facility fee. For Bennett Gordon Hall rentals, parking is charged independently.

Are there dates that I am not able to plan an event?

Yes, the Ravinia Offices often close around the wintertime holidays. Typically, the park is also closed for maintenance and beautification up to one month prior to the first performance, and for up to one month following the last performance. For specific availability, please contact us at events@ravinia.org.

Am I able to use the outdoor spaces during the wintertime?

All of our rentable outdoor spaces in the off-season are covered, but open to the elements on the sides. The Tree Top Porch, Park View Terrace, and Lawn Bar Patio offer heat lamps and may extend longer into the spring and fall.

Event spaces subject to availability. Food and beverage minimums listed are pre-tax amounts.

All food, beverage, and related items are subject to a 21% service charge plus applicable sales tax. Additional payment for tips or gratuity for service, if any, is voluntary and at your discretion. Additional service and set-up fees will apply.

There is an additional fee per bartender and one bartender per 50 guests is required.

25% of your Food & Beverage minimum must be remitted at the time of contract agreement. A final guaranteed number is required 14 business days prior to your event. Full payment is due 7 business days prior to your event.

We can put a soft hold on dates for your convenience for up to two weeks, but to fully book your event, you must remit payment for your space rental and any audio/visual add-ons.
