Ravinia Poster Design Competition
The Ravinia Women’s Board congratulates this year’s Ravinia Season Poster designer, Anne Pazen.
The concept and design of the poster are guided by Ravinia’s vision: the power of shared, live-music moments to inspire ourselves and the world. With a graphic, modern layout of musical notes and color choices to reflect inclusivity, Pazen seeks to give the viewer the feeling of joy and magic—precisely what Ravinia has brought to her and millions of others who have walked through its gates.
Pazen will receive a $1,000 cash prize, and her design will be featured in the promotion of the upcoming 2024 Ravinia season, distributed among hundreds of Chicagoland stores and public spaces, and sold exclusively at the Ravinia Festival Shop.
Anne Pazen is a creative director in advertising who started out as a toy designer in Chicago. She has created campaigns and led teams for brands worldwide, including Disney, American Express, Hershey, and PepsiCo. Pazen is passionate about the importance of creativity and design as part of education, and she has been invited to guest lecture and advise undergraduate students at Loyola University Chicago and University of Colorado–Boulder. Currently, Pazen runs her own creative studio to develop brand identities and advertising, focusing on new and sustainable brands. She is from the Chicago area and is a lifelong fan of Ravinia.
