Construction projects could delay traffic around Ravinia

When driving to or from Ravinia, please be aware of two road construction projects that could impact traffic in the Highland Park area, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Resurfacing work on US Route 41 (Skokie Highway) could bring lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. between Chantilly Boulevard and Park Avenue West, just north of Ravinia Festival, through late July.

Construction on Dundee Road could mean lane restrictions between Waukegan Road (IL 43) and Skokie Boulevard through October.

Please plan accordingly, and remember to use caution in construction areas, be considerate to workers, and watch for flagger alerts.
