Concert Information

CSO Residency Music Director James Conlon once again invites the lecherous lothario Don Giovanni into the Martin Theatre for two presentations of Mozart’s legendary opera based on the tale of Don Juan. The original “pick-up artist,” Giovanni, portrayed by Christopher Maltman in his Ravinia operatic debut, finds few challenges that cannot be met with his silver tongue and ebullient personality until his fast and free past catches up with him in truly unique fashion. See the comic drama unfold in the size of hall that Mozart himself would have seen his Don Giovanni performed in.
