About The Artist

Musicians from Marlboro is the touring extension of the renowned Marlboro Music Festival in Vermont. Each year, more than twenty five artists take time from their regular activities to bring MFM concerts to cities around the country. The tour has introduced such musicians as Jonathan Biss, András Schiff, Peter Serkin, Pamela Frank, Miriam Fried, Kim Kashkashian, Jaime Laredo, Tim Fain and Richard Stoltzman. Members of such chamber ensembles as the Brentano, Emerson, Juilliard, Mendelssohn and Orion credit Marlboro and the touring program as among their most important musical influences. This year’s ensemble includes violinists Lily Francis and Sarah Kapustin, violist Julianne Lee, cellist Peter Wiley, clarinetist Pascal Archer, bassoonist Jennifer Monroe, horn player Radovan Vlatković and double bass Jeffrey Beecher.

“The most exciting chamber music in the United States.” - Time
