The Harlem String Quartet, comprised of First-Place Laureates of the Sphinx Competition, made their acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut in the fall of 2006. Dedicated to promoting diversity and highlighting works by minority composers, the quartet has been featured on WNBC, CNN, and The Today Show. In September 2007, they released their first CD, Take the "A" Train.
