A true musical Renaissance man, Ravinia’s former music director, Christoph Eschenbach, has won accolades around the world as a pianist, conductor, accompanist and beloved colleague even as he discovers and nurtures new talent—this is, after all, the man who brought such mega-stars as Lang Lang and Renée Fleming to the world’s attention. There will be plenty of surprises for Christoph when the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and an assembly of guest artists perform a concert celebrating his 70th birthday, but the real present will be for you, with all pavilion seats priced at just $25!
