Program

It’s a family affair when the great Pinchas Zukerman wields both violin bow and conductor’s baton in an all-Mozart evening at which he will be joined by his daughter, soprano Arianna Zukerman. The program features the iconic Symphony No. 40 (The great G-minor Symphony) and the vocally virtuosic Exsultate Jubilate. The great violinist plays throughout the concert, conducting his daughter from the violin.

Mozart:
“L’amerò, sarò costante” from Il re pastore with violin obligato (Zukerman plays and conducts)
Adagio in E Major for Violin and Orchestra, K. 261 (Zukerman plays and conducts)
Rondo in C Major for Violin and Orchestra, K. 373 (Zukerman plays and conducts
Exsultate Jubilate, K. 165 (supertitles)
Symphony No. 40 in G Minor, K. 550
