Concert Information

Before returning to the Tucson Desert Song Festival, Vocalists from RSMI will profess their love of American song, entreating Bernstein, Gershwin, Weill, Sondheim, John Adams, and many other contributors to the Great American Songbook to be their Valentines with performances of the composers’ greatest songs of romance. The ensemble, led by world-renowned pianist and vocal coach Kevin Murphy, the director of the RSMI Program for Singers, comprises soprano Heather Phillips, mezzo-soprano Rebecca Ringle, tenor Richard Smagur, and baritone Nathaniel Olson.
