About The Artist

An exponent of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Program, soprano Alexandra Deshorties was praised in the Daily Telegraph for her “sweeping panache and intense musicality” in the star role of Queen Elizabeth for Welsh National Opera’s recent production of Donizetti’s Roberto Devereux. She makes her Ravinia debut on a solo program alongside “startlingly good” (Los Angeles Times) pianist David Fung, who made a stunning debut on Ravinia’s $10 BGH Classics series in 2013.
