Ravinia’s own musical ambassadors, The Lincoln Trio, have assembled an imaginative program featuring works all composed by women. They all also happen to be beautiful and inventive pieces created by composers at the top of their game, highly distinguished and critically acclaimed—all of which can be said of the performers, as well. The Strad magazine calls The Lincoln Trio “sensational” and “bewitching.” If you ever needed proof that reports of the death of classical music have been greatly exaggerated, this exuberant evening should do the trick.
