About the Artist
Train is a multi-Grammy and Billboard Award-winning band from San Francisco that has had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 list since the release of their debut self-titled album. Train’s climb to the top began in 1994, as the original five-member band tenaciously built a loyal hometown following, leading up to their 1998 debut release. The tumbling wordplay of “Meet Virginia” gave them their first radio hit, and 2001’s Drops of Jupiter broke them to multi-platinum status thanks to the double-Grammy-winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40. The group won another Grammy for their global hit “Hey, Soul Sister”—the most downloaded single of 2010—from their multi-platinum album Save Me, San Francisco.
ACM “New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year” nominee Parmalee is one of country music’s most successful acts—one of only four groups since 2001 to notch three consecutive top-10 singles from a debut album. Since their debut on country radio, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours. Comprising brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and life-long friend Josh McSwain, the North Carolina natives recently returned to the top of the charts with their Blanco Brown-collab single, “Just the Way,” and their follow-up, “Take My Name” from their new album For You, then became a multi-week No. 1 hit.
