Expressive Friedom: A Tribute to Miriam Fried

The Cleveland Quartet Award-winning Ariel Quartet marshals an ensemble of fellow Ravinia Steans Music Institute alumni—who all together greatly credit the impact of violinist Miriam Fried and her mentorship in their ongoing career successes—to present a salon-style evening of favorite music and memories from their fellowships in tribute to her 30-year leadership of the Program for Piano & Strings.
