About The Artist

Recently completing a residency in Cuba, the Chicago Harp Quartet comprises artists who have individually regularly been heard with the city’s major ensembles— the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Lyric Opera and Civic Orchestras, and the Chicago Philharmonic, among others—and have performed together on the stages of Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. In addition to performing original transcriptions of classics, the quartet also regularly commissions new works and collaborates with such cutting-edge artists as Third Coast Percussion and Ho Etsu Taiko, leading to its featured performance at the Lyon & Healy 150th anniversary gala and its debut CD, Soirées d’été.
