Ravinia favorites Sylvia McNair, Josephine Lee, and Vocality, her chorus of Chicago Children’s Choir alumni, return to the festival for two performances of chestnuts for this most wonderful time of the year. Last Christmas, the vocalists gave Ravinia their hearts as they celebrated both the 100th birthday of Robert Shaw and the inimitable warmth of his and Alice Parker’s spirited arrangements of the traditional music that have ornamented holiday playlists for a generation. Their voices will ring out again like silver bells in a new program filled with good tidings and a cup of good cheer.
