Acknowledging the loss 20 years ago of one of America’s greatest classical musicians, the legendary composer/conductor Leonard Bernstein, Ravinia presents a 50-minute suite of vocal excerpts from one of his greatest hits, Candide, while giving the incomparable CSO a chance to “glitter and be gay” in this beloved score. Shai Wosner performs Mozart's Piano Concerto in A Major.
