Ticket Sale Terms Conditions

Contributors to the not-for-profit Ravinia Festival Association have first priority on tickets. Public orders will be taken, subject to ticket availability, after all requests placed by contributors during early request periods have been filled.

Fees and Service Charges

Listed ticket prices include taxes and local municipal fees. An additional $12 service charge per order is added to all online, phone, and mail purchases. Lawn tickets to most non-classical performances purchased on the date of the concert cost an additional $5 over published prices.

Lawn screen pricing: Lawn ticket prices will increase by $10 on nights when a video screen is added on the lawn.

Ticket Quantity Limits

Ravinia reserves the right to limit the number of tickets that may be purchased online for each event. A maximum of 10 lawn tickets per event may be purchased online per transaction, not exceeding 20 total lawn tickets per event. We reserve the right to cancel any orders and tickets without notice to you if these limits are exceeded. For needs beyond these limits, please call the box office at 847-266-5100.

Refunds

All ticket sales are final; no refunds will be given unless a performance is canceled in its entirety with no replacement performance scheduled. Refunds will not be considered for instances of inclement weather, artist or program changes, show duration, traffic, parking-related issues, or perceived quality of performance.

Exchanges / Donations

Reserved-seat tickets may be exchanged up to 24 hours before the date of the performance for another performance on the calendar. Tickets may not be exchanged for a concert beyond the final concert of the summer season. Ticket exchanges may only be done in-person at the box office or over the phone and may not be made for same-date tickets currently discounted under an active promotion.

If you are unable to use your reserved-seat or lawn tickets, you may consider donating them to the not-for-profit festival as a tax-deductible donation. Donations of unused tickets are accepted in-person or by phone up until the listed start time of the performance.

All lawn ticket sales are final, and no exchanges will be made.

Ticket Upgrades

A single lawn ticket may be upgraded at any time to a reserved seat for the same show for the difference in cost between ticket types, subject to availability. The ticket upgrade may only be done in person or over the phone.

Ticket Discounts

Everybody needs a printed ticket, regardless of age. Ravinia is proud to be able to offer discounts for children, students, and seniors over 65 years of age. Many of these discounted tickets are available online as an option before checkout.

For non-classical performances, lawn tickets for children ages 3–10 range from $10 to $15; ages 2 and under are admitted for free, subject to availability. Adults will not be admitted with a ticket intended for a child and will be required to purchase the correct ticket for the event, subject to availability. Children under 7 years of age are not permitted in reserved seats in the Pavilion, Martin Theatre, or Bennett Gordon Hall except for designated family performances.

For classical performances, Ravinia offers free or reduced-price tickets to children under 15 years of age and students through college to all classical performances (excluding the Women’s Board Gala). Tickets to film presentations are available at a reduced price and must be reserved in advance online or by phone. A valid school ID is required for park entry with student-priced tickets, and students without valid identification may be turned away or asked to pay the difference of a full-priced ticket. Student lawn tickets may be upgraded to reserved seating for a discounted price, subject to availability. For a list of eligible performances, please click here.

For information on discounts Ravinia offers to seniors over the age of 65, please call the box office at 847-266-5100 or email tickets@ravinia.org.
