Program to include:

Schumann: Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 54
Schubert: Symphony No. 8 in B Minor, D. 759 (“Unfinished”)
Brahms: Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 56a

Program Notes

People know it as the “Unfinished” Symphony, but with complete confidence this masterwork could easily be called Schubert’s “Romantic” Symphony because of its lush colors and imaginative use of the orchestra. Schumann’s Piano Concerto and Brahms’s Haydn Variations finish off the program.
