Winifred Godfrey - "Maggie's Mare"
Winifred Godfrey is known for bringing a decidedly 20th-Century look to the ancient tradition of floral painting. With her monumental presentation of subject and fascination with unusual textures and patterns, Godfrey demonstrates in her paintings how conventional objective imagery can convey strong and sensuous abstract images. Through use of light, Godfrey creates a near photographic image of her models, entrapping the delicacy, transparency and complexity of what is often regarded as a simple subject.

Paul Munro - "Miss O'Hara"
Paul Munro is a "rising star" who received his degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. He was born and raised on a farm in Illinois and is now based out of Chicago. Munro takes much of his inspiration from exploring his grandparents' attic as a child, mimicking the antique wooden toys and laminated rabbit sculptures he found there. His work usually involves animal designs coupled with black and white harlequin themes. He frequently glazes his pieces to give them an aged appearance. Munro's work evokes a sense of history and nostalgia that draws its viewers back to the wonderful memories of youth.
