Ravinia Festival's 10th annual
Reach for the Stars golf tournament will take place on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Glen View Club in Golf, IL. Last year’s outing was a remarkable success, raising nearly $185,000 for the benefit of Ravinia’s Education and Community Partnerships programs. The day includes lunch, a round of golf, a cocktail/dinner reception featuring live music by Ravinia Jazz Scholars and a live auction, which in 2009 will feature trips to Europe and Mexico and premium skyboxes for the Cubs and White Sox. We are grateful to our generous sponsors for their participation and support.

Education and Community Partnerships programs bring music education and live performance opportunities to thousands of under served Chicago area students and residents, at no charge. Incorporating ambitious and innovative programs, Ravinia strives to
Reach out to underserved communities;
Teach both children and adults in the schools, in the community and at the park; and celebrate kids who
Play, bringing live music to children and their families. Through partnerships with the community of Lawndale, the Chicago Public Schools, the Chicago Park District, the Chicago and Suburban Library systems, and scores of social service agencies throughout the region, we serve more than 75,000 community residents.
